Positive Affirmations

Date March 17, 2008

Positive affirmations play an important role in my mental and emotional well being lately. A positive affirmation occurs when you make uplifting statements to yourself using your inside voice (the one that nobody ever hears!). You must say the words with conviction and faith in yourself. The point of using positive affirmations is to create a better sense of self, and break free from the cycle of negativity that most people’s minds are trapped in.

Here are some examples of my positive affirmations in which I happen to actually use the word “positive”:

I am positive light.

I am positive energy.

I am positive force.

When I say these words in my head, I also visualize clear, bright light surrounding me and also emanating from me.

It creates a shift in perspective, away from any negativity I might be experiencing.

I encourage my readers to leave me a comment telling me their own positive affirmations. I am curious.

And yes! I can say “my readers” because I know of at least seven people who check my page regularly!

Haha. :-) It’s all about You.

*in love and light*
